According to Web MD, empaths are exceptionally sensitive to the emotions and frame of mind to nearby individuals.  Some believe it comes from having to be very intuned to our environment due to the unpredictable nature of it. Pathology is a medical discipline that provides diagnostic information to clinicians and patients. Are emotions are always trying to communicate to us. Being able to accurately read and understand what they are communicating means the difference between a favorable outcome or not. We don't think it's a coincidence that empath can be found in the combining of EMotions and PATHology. Feel well my fellow empaths.
